Mr. Do Phuong, Chairman of Vietnam Ornamental Creature Association; Mr. Vo Hong Nhan, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Ornamental Creature; Mr. Le Hoang Minh, former Vice Chairman of Vietnam Peasant Association; Mr. Truong Minh Chien, Vice Secretary of Bac Lieu provincial Party Committee, Head of Bac Lieu Congressional Delegate, Vice Chairman of Festival Steering Committee; Mr. Le Minh Khai, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, former Vice Secretary of Bac Lieu provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Mr, Le Thanh Dung, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Mrs. Le Thi Ai Nam, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Chairwoman of the Festival Organization Committee; representatives in the provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, units, Ornamental Crearture Association of other provinces attended the event.
In the exhibition, there are 16 stalls with more than 1.000 artistic works of 7 provinces and cities: Ca Mau, Can Tho city, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh and Bac Lieu; 7 of which are the stalls from districts and cities of Bac Lieu province. The works are diversified, unique and special. Each one shows the artistry, creativity, indulgence and patience of the artisans.
Beside the number of the works, the exhibition is formed in a large space with 3.100 m2 area.
This significant activity both plays a part in the success of the first National “Don ca tai tu” Festival – Bac Lieu 2014 and promotes the development of the Ornamental Creature Movement of the province as well as make the environment green, clean, and nice to beautify the young city.
On this occasion, the Organization Committee granted 13 memorial medals “ For the Development of Ornamental Creatures” to 13 individuals who have had significant contribution to the provincial ornamental creature movement.
The Organization Committee also held the Ornamental Creature competition in Bonsai, miniature scenery, artistic shaping with 49 prize groups: 5 gold, 10 silver, 15, bronze and consolation prizes. Can Tho city Ornamental Creature Association won the Gold prize for the big bonsai; the Ornament Creature Association of Sa Dec town, Dong Thap province won the Gold prize for the medium; Tra Vinh Ornamental Creature Association won the Gold prize for the miniature; the left two Gold prizes for the miniature scenery and artistic shaping were granted to Can Tho city for “Doi bo thuong nho” ( Two banks missing) and “Tieng long nguoi Phuong Nam” (The love sounds of the Southern People)
