At the ceremony, representative of Vietnamese Buddhism Church pronounced Buddha’s Birthday Message 2015, Buddha’s year 2559 of Reverend Vietnamese Buddhism Church Management to virtues, superior Buddhist monks, Buddhist clergies, hermits and Vietnamese Buddhists at home and abroad with peaceful world and contentment pray for living beings. Particularly, the Message emphasized that Buddha’s Birthday this year is in the same day with Children’s Day, so, Vietnamese Buddhism Church Management hope that all levels of Church in localities continue to concern and look after our adolescents and children – hope and future generation of our country. Besides, everybody listened to the speech of Buddha’s Birthday, Buddha’s year 2559 of Standing Committee of Vietnamese Buddhism Church Management and the meaning of Buddha’s Birthday 2559 – peace to serve for human’s life meaning.
Representative of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu read Buddha’s Birthday 2559 congratulatory letter of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Central Committee Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan to the virtues and all of Buddhist clergies, and Buddhists at home and abroad. He wished virtue sects and Buddhists have a peaceful and happy Buddha’s Birthday season. At the same time, representing for provincial committee of the Party, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee appealed Vietnamese Buddhism Church and Buddhists continue to bring into play traditions and join together in order to construct Bac Lieu more and more develop, and province’s Buddhism become a support about faith and high-minded of nuns, monks and Buddhists in province.
At the ceremony, many rituals happened, such as pray with the incense, worship Buddha’s Birthday Great Festival, drum prajna to pick up Le Dan Sanh, acquit pigeons and balloons to wish peaceful, etc.
