President Ho Chi Minh’s shrine lies in Chau Thoi village, Vinh Loi district, Bac Lieu province, 18 km from Bac Lieu town in the northwest. Situated in the area of over 9,300 m2, the shrine was built with brick, ebony purlins, eaves in front and flat balcony. Approximately 300 files and objects on display reflect the struggle of Chau Thoi people to defend the shrine and the materials on President Ho’s revolutionary activities are reserved in the display room. The shrine was ranked national-level historical relic by Ministry of culture and information. This is the pride of Bac Lieu army and people. Every year on great holidays, especially on Uncle Ho’s birthday, a lot of visitors and people visit it. Now the shrine is planned to be enlarged in the area of 45,000m2 and many project items of traditional meanings and densely national culture will attract tourists.
