Giac Hoa pagoda

The pagoda sites in Xom Lon hamlet, Chau Thoi commune, Vinh Loi district. Its overall area is about 9,769 sq.m and it is surrounded by Xeo Chinh river to three directions (north, east, and southeast).

Ms. Huynh Thi Ngo subscribed to construct the relic in March 1919 in the style of “noi cong ngoai quoc” (a traditional architecture style) with architecture combining unanimously between Western and East. The pagoda is a complex of various architecture constructions arranged properly. They are sanctum, sanctuary, eastern corridor, Quan Am Nam Hai statue (outdoor), flagstaff, shrine of manes, and ‘mo phap’(worshipping place). The pagoda worships Buddha in Bac Tong sect. 

Annually, the pagoda has great rites in the fifteenth day in the first, seventh and tenth lunar months like Thuong nguon, Trung nguon, and Ha nguon. Not only performing religious rituals but those days also are chance for cultural service to the massive residents.
