Worship house of Cao Trieu family

In 1914, Cao Trieu family constructed a spacious worship house on the bank of Bac Lieu river in ward 5, Bac Lieu town, in Hue architecture . The house was covered with negative-positive tile, granite columns carved with “two dragons fighting for a pearl”. Nowadays, the house still keeps two sets of granite sofas.

Bronze cranes heading lamps and two sets of bronze urns with bamboo eyes. From a rich family in Bac Lieu, however, sir Cao Trieu Phat, a son of Cao Trieu family was loyal to the revolution and strongly patriotic. He was a representative of national assembly in Bac Lieu. When the resistant war against the French colonialists ended, he was moved to the Central Committee to continue the duties and assignments of the Party and Governement during the war against the US imperialists.
